I'm so excited. I've finally reached the technological era and am working on starting my website. As a request from my customers and friends, I'm also starting a blog.
So with the help from my wonderful Graphic Designer, Stephanie Brownell, let the festivities begin.
Tailored by Sooki is my site for Sooki Garment Care + Tailoring. All my knowledge of dry cleaning and tailoring have come from my parents and life experiences. I've had the pleasure of having an event planning company & have been shopping for people forever. My parents have been a great influence as they have been the best of the best on the Main Line for two decades. Our old tailor was so meticulous and talented, I was able to learn so much. My experience as an event planner has led me to planning weddings and executing fashion shows. Finding the perfect piece was imperative and I was totally able to deliver. Those last minute fittings before the walk down the runway was a great experience. You had to make sure every piece was draped properly and the designer's vision had to be carried out.
I love what I do. A lot of sweat and tears but completely worth it. There isn't a day that I'm not overwhelmed by my success and grateful for all the support from all my friends, family and customers. I love the interaction and I love when everyone feels great in their clothes. Looking good feels great and I think we should feel great everyday.
Now off I go to start the website. I hope you enjoy the blog as well as my site. I'll be blogging about a range of things. Everything from garment care to tailoring, new styles to great buys & things about life. I am inspired by life and the people within. Everyone has a goal or a story. There are so many conversations that go on at the store, I may just share some every once in a while.
